Come as you are—exhausted, skeptical, or simply curious. Leave with hope that ministry doesn’t have to cost you your soul.

All DFW-area pastors are invited to join us for a complimentary lunch and honest conversation about deepening in your own experience of God’s love—not another program to implement, but a deeply personal journey that transforms how you lead.

With Eden Lead Alumni:

Paul Whaley Eden Project

Paul Whaley
Pastor for Teaching and Vision

Paul is the Pastor for Teaching and Vision at Summit Crossing Community Church in Huntsville, Alabama. He is the founding pastor of 22 years there. Paul and Brandi have been married for 32 years and they have 3 children, Luke (married to Ashley), Karsyn and Jake.  New to his world, Paul is also known as Bop-Bop to his young favorite person – Jack (grandson) who is almost two years old.  He enjoys hanging out with young church planters, sitting on the back porch with his wife talking about living in the love of God, and playing golf with his kids.

Matt Weaver Eden Project

Matt Weaver
Lead Pastor

Matt Weaver has served in ministry for 20 years in a variety of roles, from launching and directing a Christian retreat center in Eastland, TX to serving as an Associate Pastor and leading groups and connection ministries. In September 2022, he and his family planted Grace Church Aledo, where he currently pastors. Matt and his wife, Codye, have been married for 18 years and have three children—Ellye (14), Deacon (10), and Brighton (8). They’ve called Aledo home for the past eight years. When he’s not pastoring, Matt loves being outdoors—whether camping, sitting a round a fire with good drinks and good friends, hunting, or simply enjoying time with his family.

Ministry leadership often demands everything while offering little space for personal transformation. Many pastors know about God’s love theoretically but struggle to experience it personally. Eden Project exists to change that.

What to Expect:

This isn’t a strategy session or program pitch. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Hear how the Spirit has transformed ministry leaders across the country through the ministry of Eden Project
  • Learn about Eden Lead and other formation opportunities
  • Connect with fellow pastors who desire more with God
  • Explore whether Eden Project could support your own journey

No sales pressure. Just an honest conversation about what it means to lead from belovedness rather than burnout.
